Juggling July Events (and TAGGED!)

Wed Jul 1, 2009, 1:28 AM
Not that there's a lot to juggle... more like just two larger events that are on the horizon. Hm... I think for REAL juggling you actually need three items. But we'll ignore that for now...

New kirby comic page up. ^_^ Yay! I mean, I've posted up to comic strip 90. I had no idea how long this story was going to be when I did it. But I don't think I EVER thought I'd make it up to 90, if it went on that long!

I was starting to reply to comments but it seems the DA system is a bit buggy at the mo. It may take me another month to really reply to your comments for that reason... hopefully I'll get on sooner and reply though. >_<

Ah yes: back to the topic of circus acts

Juggling Ball Event 1:

This Friday (Thursday in some peoples' timezones) I'll be having my wisdom teeth pulled out. Ow. There's not enough space in my lower jaw for them.
I was looking forward to having popsicles (er... dunno if different countries have different names for those things, so just in case you have no idea what a ';popsicle' is I'll explain it. A ';popsicle' is a frozen treat on a stick; usually frozen juice or ice cream... there are many, many different flavours... with a thin wooden stick in the middle. ...I probably didn't need to explain that but ANYWAY. We usually call them 'ice blocks' in my family) after the operation -they're cold and help stop the bleeding. And they taste nice. However I was disappointed to learn that I'd only be getting lemonade flavoured ones. I was looking forward to something nicer...
...Until I was reminded that whatever goes into my mouth will just taste like blood anyway. >.< Rats!

Juggling Ball Event 2:

Shifting house. I'm sure I said something about that in last month's journal... anyway the date's been postphoned due to different things. Not sure exactly when we'll be shifting but it will likely be in August. The good thing is that most things have been packed; so there's very little left. Little enough so that I don't think we'll have to worry about there being a mad dash to pack everything the week before we finally move.

My rooms feeling very empty. :'(

Random Juggling Ball 3 that got thrown in with the rest:

I just remembered some good news! ...No wait, I forgot it again. *Waits and thinks*
Oh yeah, I finished up my Chinese course! Sweet, an A average. X3 But I was only taking the one paper so that makes a huge difference too. ^_^
...And that makes three 'juggling ball' titles/things to talk about. And since it takes three things to juggle, whoot!
Not that this whole metaphor meshes together all that well but bah.

***
Random fact: I can't juggle. I'd like to learn how to someday.
Random fact: I had a friend in High School who could juggle with just two juggling balls. It looked really cool -she used only one hand to do it. ^_^

I hast been tagged!!

Ten Random Things About Moi...

1. I really like chickens. I don't know why... I just do.

2. I have a long-term illness which is not fatal but takes a long time to recover from.

3. I'm a twin.

4. I live in New Zealand. Which is NOT part of Australia.

5. I have learned how to purr. No joke.

6. I am competent in French. (Thank you to :iconhorticultureboy: for helping me find the right word!) XD

7. I once had a yellow toy rabbit. I named it 'yellow bunny'. I then had a teddy bear. I called it 'big ted'. I then had an even bigger teddy. I called it 'white bear'.
'Big Ted' was actually smaller than two other teddy bears I had in the end...

8. I really, really like Asian bakeries. (Eep! Thanks for pointing out that I'd missed a word there :P )

9. I wish that I could speak in every single different language fluently. (I DON'T wish to spend all the time that it would take to learn them though! >.<;)

10. I have chased, rounded-up, tackled, been dragged behind after the afore-mentioned tackle, tackled to the ground, sat on, ridden, restrained, patted, fed, cleaned and injected sheep.

The following people may now report to the 'TAGGED' office:

Yes, I like PS2 and other gaming as well. That's what the 'etc' is for! :D
I really just like too many things to name. :O_o:

There really isn't much I dislike, apart from obvious things like crudeness and all that... as far as food goes, I eat pretty much anything even I don't like it. Though along with steamed mussels, offal and bugs in my salad, sesame-seed covered dried anchovies are definitely on my 'would prefer to slip off my plate and give to the cat' list.

I think therefore I am paraniod.

Aww. >.< But you should! It's so cute/cool!
Yes, both. There should be a word for that.

Are you fluent in French?

Hm... my parents reckon I am, but no. Still quite a way to go. Almost, though. I can understand most words, or at least guess their meaning, and know the majority of different tenses and grammar structures. So, maybe almost fluent. :)

Maybe a better way to put it would be "competent?"

Yeah; thanks. :D That's a better word for it. ^_^
